HitMe! Baccarat is one of the numerous variants of baccarat developed by Eyecon. Compared to the traditional game, it involves an additional betting round where players can double down and take a second chance. The final outcome depends on the card players have to beat. The harder it is to win, the higher the payout will be.

Features

In HitMe! Baccarat, players can decide whether they want to bet on the “player” hand or the “dealer” hand. Their basic aim to get the best total remains unchanged. Ideally, they get nine, but they can also try to get a total close to that number.

If players bet on a draw and win, they will get a 9:1 payout. If their hand wins, they get a 2:1 payout. For a banker, a win will bring a 2:1 payout excluding a 5% commission. This commission can’t be ignored as a banker’s hand has an inherent benefit.

Rules

HitMe! Baccarat has a simple set of rules to be followed. Here it is:

• Eight decks of cards are used throughout the game.
• Betting on a player or a banker and losing to anything (apart from a total of nine) triggers the Hit Me round where an extra card can be bought.
• Players are free to place random bets in the Hit Me round.
• Getting over the total of the other hand is the idea of the Hit Me round.
• Ties are missing in the Hit Me round.

Strategy

In HitMe! Baccarat, players can apply a standard baccarat strategy – to bet on a banker’s hand. Even with a 5% commission payment, a banker’s hand provides the best odds. For example, the house edge is estimated at 1.06% which offers a high payout even after covering a commission.

In HitMe! Baccarat, losing a hand isn’t the end of the world. Players can get a second chance by purchasing an extra card from the dealer. If they bet on the banker and the player’s hand wins, an option to play a free hand is offered. This feature keeps the game exciting. If there is a tie or a winning hand has the value of nice, the Hit Me round can’t be applied.
