Arriba Scratch: A Day of the Dead Scratch Card From Boldplay

Arriba Scratch is a virtual scratch card from Boldplay, the Gibraltar-based studio formerly known as Matrix Studios. It shares its theme with Boldplay’s Arriba slot, swapping spinning reels for a colourful ticket covered in Mexican Day of the Dead imagery: sugar skulls, marigolds, maracas and bright festival colours. It is aimed at players who want an instant result without the build-up of a full slot round.

Scratching the Ticket

You choose a stake and reveal the symbols on the card, either one by one or all at once. The layout is arranged in a 6×3 grid, and a win is awarded when at least three matching symbols appear. Because everything is decided in a single reveal, there are no free spins or long bonus sequences to wait for; the appeal lies in the quick moment of discovery and the festive presentation.

• Provider: Boldplay (formerly Matrix Studios)
• Game type: instant-win scratch card
• Theme: Mexico and the Day of the Dead
• Volatility: low
• Jackpot: a progressive Scratch Pot

The Scratch Pot Jackpot

The feature that lifts Arriba Scratch above a basic ticket is the progressive Scratch Pot. Landing multiple winning combinations on the same card can contribute towards this jackpot, giving an extra layer of anticipation to each reveal. As with any progressive prize, the top award is rare, so it is best viewed as a bonus possibility rather than a reason to keep playing.

Who Should Try It

The low volatility rating makes Arriba Scratch a reasonable choice for players who prefer smaller, more regular results over long dry spells. It works well for short sessions, for example on a phone during a break, and for anyone new to online scratch cards who wants a simple introduction. Players who enjoy complex features and interactive bonus rounds might find it too minimal.

Verdict: Arriba Scratch is a cheerful, easy-to-understand scratch card with a vivid fiesta theme and a progressive pot. Give the free demo above a few tries to see how often wins appear before deciding whether to play with real money.
