Stick ‘Em: Hacksaw Gaming’s First Slot Reviewed

Stick ‘Em has a special place in the history of Hacksaw Gaming, because it was the studio’s debut slot. Released in 2019 after a short exclusive period with LeoVegas, it showed that a company best known for digital scratch cards could also build a fun video slot. You will find it in our other games section with a free demo above, so you can explore it without risking anything.

Grid, Symbols and Style

The game runs on five reels and four rows, and casino listings describe it with 1,024 ways to win. The look is retro and cartoonish, led by a cheerful character called Canny the Can. Lower-value symbols include stars and dice, while the better-paying icons include a bag of cash and a thumbs-up. Casino game pages list the top payout at 2,048 times the stake, which gives a sense of the ceiling without turning it into a jackpot chase.

Sticky Wins and the Bonus Wheel

The name gives away the main idea. Winning combinations can stick in place while the remaining positions respin, giving a single win the chance to grow. On top of that, the game features extra spins and a bonus wheel with three levels, adding a step-by-step feeling as you climb towards the better prizes.

• Sticky win respins that hold winning symbols
• Extra spins as part of the bonus play
• A three-level bonus wheel
• Mobile-first design typical of Hacksaw

A Series Starter

Stick ‘Em went on to lead a small family of titles. Hacksaw later released Stack ‘Em and a scratch card version, so if you enjoy this one there are related games with a similar feel. Playing the original is a nice way to see where the studio’s slot work began.

Our take: Stick ‘Em is a light, colourful slot with an easy-to-follow sticky respin mechanic and a modest top win. It suits players who like character-driven games and short sessions. Give the demo a spin, set yourself limits, and enjoy it as a piece of entertainment.
