Single Deck BlackJack MH: Play’n GO’s One-Deck Multi-Hand Table

Single Deck BlackJack MH is a blackjack game from Play’n GO, the Swedish studio known for both video slots and polished table games. As the name tells you, it is dealt from just one deck of cards, and the MH stands for multi-hand, meaning you can play more than one hand per round. The game first appeared in 2014 and remains a clean, classic way to play. You can practise strategy in the free demo above.

Rules at the Table

The objective is the familiar one: beat the dealer by getting closer to 21 without going over. The key rules are:

• One deck of 52 cards, shuffled before each round
• The dealer hits on soft 17
• Doubling down after a split is allowed
• You can split aces and re-split pairs

Before betting, check the paytable in the game for the blackjack payout. Some single-deck games pay less than the traditional 3 to 2 for a natural, and that difference has a real effect on the house edge.

Why Multi-Hand Play Matters

Playing several hands at once speeds up the game and lets you apply strategy across more decisions per round. It also means your total stake per round grows with each extra hand, so it is worth keeping an eye on how much you are wagering. Single-deck blackjack is popular with players who use basic strategy, because fewer decks change some of the optimal decisions slightly. Learning those decisions in the demo first is a smart approach.
