Jump Jump: Dragoon Soft’s Level-Climbing Arcade Game

Jump Jump, also listed as Jump & Jump, is an arcade-style game from Dragoon Soft released in early 2022. Instead of reels or cards, it is built around a character who jumps upwards, and each level reached increases the potential prize. It is a fun change of pace for players who like games with a sense of progress, and the free demo above is the easiest way to get a feel for it.

How the Game Works

You choose your stake, which can range from 1 to 100, and start the round. Your character then jumps from level to level. The higher you climb, the higher the winning score, with multipliers attached to each stage. If the jump fails, the round ends. The maximum win is 400 times the stake, and the game is listed with a return to player of 98.5%, which is high for an arcade title.

Outcomes are decided randomly, so the animation is a way of presenting the result rather than a test of reflexes. Some versions of the game may offer different return settings, so check the information screen for the details that apply where you play.

Arcade Style

Dragoon Soft gives the game a light, colourful look that feels closer to a mobile game than a classic casino product. Rounds are short, and the climbing animation creates a nice moment of suspense each time.
