Happy Scratch: Hacksaw Gaming’s Cheerful 3×3 Scratch Card

Happy Scratch is one of the early scratch cards from Hacksaw Gaming, released in late 2018 when the studio was focused on reinventing instant-win tickets for mobile players. It is one of the titles that helped Hacksaw get onto the lobbies of well-known casinos before the company became famous for its video slots. Each round is a single ticket with a three-by-three grid, and the demo above lets you scratch a few without any stake.

Nine Fields, One Goal

The card has nine hidden fields arranged in a 3×3 layout. After choosing your stake, you uncover them by swiping or tapping, or let the game reveal everything at once. If three matching prize symbols appear, you win the amount linked to that symbol. The paytable is visible on the ticket, so it is always clear what each symbol is worth.

The appeal is speed and clarity: there are no paylines to track and no features to trigger. Keep in mind that scratch cards tend to have a lower return to player than many slots, and the game’s info panel shows the exact figure for your version.

A Bright, Friendly Look

As the title promises, Happy Scratch keeps the mood upbeat. Cheerful colours, smiling symbols and smooth scratch animations make it pleasant to play on a phone. Hacksaw designed its scratch cards mobile-first, and that shows in how naturally the swipe-to-scratch action works on a touch screen.

Who It Is For

• Players who want instant outcomes
• Newcomers who prefer games with almost no rules
• Mobile users looking for a quick break

Since tickets take only seconds, it helps to decide how many you will play before you start. That keeps the experience relaxed and within budget.

Happy Scratch is a tidy, easy scratch card from a studio that knows the format well. It is not built for long sessions, but for a few quick reveals it is a pleasant pick. Try it free in the demo first.
