Aces & Deuces Bonus Poker: Red Rake’s Video Poker for Ace and Two Hunters

Aces & Deuces Bonus Poker is a video poker game from Spanish developer Red Rake Gaming. It belongs to the Bonus Poker family, where certain four-of-a-kind hands pay more than others. In this variant, the spotlight falls on two ranks in particular: aces and twos. Landing four of either is what the top prizes are built around, which gives the game a clear target beyond the usual royal flush dream.

Basic Play

You receive five cards, choose which to hold and draw replacements for the rest. The final hand is then compared against the paytable. The minimum paying hand is a pair of jacks or better, so the game is easy to learn for anyone who has played Jacks or Better. The difference lies higher up the table, where four aces and four twos are rewarded with special payouts.

• Developer: Red Rake Gaming
• Lowest paying hand: a pair of jacks or better
• Headline hands: four of a kind in aces and/or twos
• Multi-hand: play up to 50 hands at once
• Extra: an optional gamble mini-game

Strategy and Multi-Hand Play

Because aces and twos are worth more as quads, good strategy places slightly more value on holding them than in standard Jacks or Better. Holding a lone ace, or a pair of twos, can be more attractive here than in other variants. Playing many hands at once multiplies both the excitement and the cost of every deal, so increase the hand count with care. The gamble mini-game lets you risk a win for the chance to increase it; it is entirely optional and adds risk rather than value.

Who Should Play

This variant suits video poker fans who know the basics and want a paytable with a little more character. Beginners can still enjoy it by starting with a single hand and learning which cards to hold. As with any casino game, results are random over the short term, so budget-setting matters more than any holding rule.

Verdict: Aces & Deuces Bonus Poker is a well-made Red Rake variant with a clear twist and flexible multi-hand options. Use the free demo above to test holding decisions before playing for real stakes.
